I received this email and video link from Michael Whitney from Change.org, it’s about Bank of America’s CEO adding a $5 debit card fee per month to the customers card. Really? I mean it, Really? You’re already making a ton of money off of these people and now you’re charging them more? COME ON! We as Americans are having a hard enough time everyday trying to pay bills, feed our children, or taking care of ourselves for that matter. Why does Bank Of America feel it necessary to charge $60 a year for a service that should be free as a customer? So what? Well, I guess if Bank of America wants to charge someone, it should be customers with more than $100,000 in their account, not $600. Look at what happened with Netflix recently, they hiked up their rates to customers on certain services. Guess what happened next? Yep, you guessed it, the customers left, I being a Netflix customer that didn’t leave, but my rate didn’t raise, received an apology via email and that they were going back to the normal rates. I think companies in America should start seeing the trend going on, raising prices = losing customers. What happened to companies being loyal to their customers? Doing whatever it takes to keep them? I guess in failing economy nowadays, companies like Bank Of America are feeling the pinch of having to cut costs and laying off employees, but what made your company successful in the first place? Customers maybe? Yeah, think about that Banks before humanity starts putting their money underneath the mattress again.
